
Shaman Bakshi
CEO
Shaman Bakshi is the cofounder and CEO of Community Oncology Partners, where he brings a lifetime of leadership, management, and business development experience. Shaman has an extensive career in structured finance spanning more than 20 years and has served as senior managing director at General Electric Capital Corporation, a leading financial institution, in several business sectors with an expertise in private equity and corporate finance.
Prior roles as CFO, COO, senior vice president, and managing director have helped him develop progressive experience in scaling organizations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, private equity, finance, accounting, marketing, fundraising, and due diligence, among others. Shaman is a master at scaling organizations to achieve significant market share while simultaneously improving operating margins to drive profitability for all shareholders.
Over the last several years, Shaman has spent his time rolling up health
care practices in medical oncology, gastroenterology/ambulatory surgical centers, aesthetic medicine, surgical centers, and several multispecialty groups nationwide.
Shaman has been extremely successful in supporting private equity-backed healthcare platforms with complex management services organizations and has repeatedly scaled them organically and via M&A, leading to successful exits. He has a strong track record of keeping both financial and physician stakeholders happy throughout the life cycle of the platform.
Shaman completed his BBA in accounting and finance summa cum laude at UT Austin. He earned his MBA with highest distinction at UCLA Anderson School of Management with a focus on corporate finance, accounting, and strategy.
